With this page I want to inform you about the privacy policy that apply to this website. According to european law (GDPR / DSGVO) I need to inform you how:

  • Data Controller: who is responsible for the data collected on this website? this is me, Tobias Nickel
  • Data Processor: This website is hosted at 1und1 web-servers. all network connections are going into there compute center before arriving at the web server. Other than this, it is a self developed website, the data is processed by me and my self developed programs.
  • Data Subject: Data Subject is any living individual who is using this website and is subject of Personal Data.

1. what personal information are collected

I collect a little bit of information about journeys users do on this website.

2. how personal information is collected

Instead of commonly used cookies, this website is using the local storage to store last page, last time. Once a new website is opened, usage information is send to server and recorded in a log file. It contain information about the time and page, but no information that allow personal identification.

  • They are stored on disk at the server in a flat file. Once some time (months or years) have past, I might get interest to analyze the file offline. This will only be analyzes of statistical nature.

    Only I have direct access to the web servers filesystem. This access is encrypted and password protected.

    Nobody but me has access to this server and its data.

    7. if there are any cookies used

    currently there are no cookies used. I plan to add a cookie banner, it will set a cookie, but that cookie will only be used to hide the banner.

    8. how you have control over this.

    This website only stores data that is not relatable to any person. That is why I have no way, to search any data about you. You can email me, than we can see, if my personal analytics solution has stored any data, that allow me to identify your journey. In that case, I will gladly delete all statistical data I have collected until this point, update the analytics program to anonymize the information better, before collecting new statistics data.
